Rest in Peace |
Preceded in death by her sister, Prissy, and her step-brother, Shadow, Missy is survived by her step-brothers Sammie, Chaucer and Strider, and her grieving parents Barbara & Tim Gatewood. She was laid to rest on Saturday, January 7, 2006, after being a joy to us for almost 18 years. She had been ill with thyroid, congestive heart, and other health problems for a few years, and took a sudden turn for the worse during that week. On Friday, she was unable to eat or drink anything and could barely breathe, so the difficult decision had to be made to let her go to her long-deserved rest. Memorials should be sent to a shelter or pet rescue organization of your choice. (Several months after the above memorial was posted, we adopted Tabby, a 5 year old short hair part Maine Coon who had been orphaned when the last of her humans passed away. While no pet can truly replace another, Tabby and the 3 male cats we serve are great at distracting us from our grief over Missy. / tag) |

prefer you use this one (bugsbunny at TimGatewood dot net - I have
spelled it out here to cut down on spam) especially if the email has
an attachment.

Kim Komando's
"Digital Goddess" site Besides Gila Queen's Guide (mentioned above), the other best source of info about the small press is Scavenger's Newsletter, but their website seems to have disappeared. So, try SPECULATIONS instead. In an article in The National Fantasy Fan, the On-Line Bureau ran this list of SF Author Links that I find pretty useful:sflinks PLEASE do NOT pass on
so-called "virus warnings" before checking them out.
And where do you check them out? you ask. Here are 4 places you
can go to see if a "Virus Warning" is a hoax before
you look like an IDIOT for passing it on: "No Man's Life or Property is safe while the Legislature is in session." I don't recall who said it, but this is very true. Here in Tennessee, we can contact our legislative "representatives" (or Senators) by calling 1-800-449-8366 or we can visit the Tennessee Legislature web site at http://www.legislature.state.tn.us. (You can also write them at "Your Legislator's Name", Tennessee General Assembly, Legislative Plaza, Nashville TN 37243.) |
